If you would like to make an appointment with Dr Catherine Curson and claim the Medicare rebate, you will need to get a referral from your GP or another doctor.
Psychiatrists are medical specialists, which means Dr Curson obtained a medical degree before going on to specialise. Like other medical specialists, Dr Curson can only take on referrals from another medical practitioner. She can prescribe medication if it is needed and her fees are partially subsidised by Medicare
