First appointment

The first appointment usually lasts for about 50 minutes and you will receive feedback at the end of the session about what the problems may be and what might be done about them. Usually, Dr Curson will meet with you over 2 – 4 sessions to make a full assessment. After this she can have a more detailed discussion with you about your diagnosis and treatment options.

If you are already taking any pills, medications, supplements or other preparations, it is helpful to bring them along, even if not they don’t appear to be related to your mental or emotional state.

If you have a lot to talk about, or have a lot of questions to ask, it can help to make some notes before your first session and bring them along. You are also able to bring notes and any questions to other future sessions.

Please remember to bring your Doctor’s referral (if it has not already been faxed) to your first appointment.  Also bring your Medicare card, DVA entitlement card, and any Concession or Health Care Cards you currently hold.
